Choose Your Reality

I know that many of us have goals and dreams. We’ve been told to visualize our future and conquer our dreams, but in the end what does that really mean? Most importantly, I want to say visualization is a very powerful form of meditation. Visualizing is a great way to affirm your reality, but dreams only come true with massive action. You can think and dream all day, but it is nothing until you write it down, put a date on it, and take action. Only then are you on the path of accomplishing your dreams. Trust me I know.

I am the ultimate dreamer. In fact, I’ve been dreaming the same dream for almost 10 years now. I am 30 years old, and it wasn’t until I was 28 that I decided that I was going to take massive action. I had just broken up with a toxic boyfriend, lost a toxic best friend, and I said okay, it’s time. I don’t want to settle for less than what I know that I can accomplish. So, I began searching, reading more and exploring myself.

I’ve always been a reader, but I started focusing on books that could get me to the ultimate goal of working for myself, making money online. But I also wanted to be able to help others. But something I’ve realized is, sometimes you need to make sure that you’re okay first before you can help others. I know it’s a controversial concept. Like oxygen masks in airplanes, and many mothers would argue otherwise, but change requires you to become the top priority.

Look at Bill Gates, who focused his youth on building wealth and now has raised many times over what he is worth for charities in his philanthropy. He was only able to do these things first because he put himself in the position of power to do so.

So, what do you need to do in order to accomplish your dreams? Well, first I would say start your passions. At least for me, this is something that has truly brought me happiness.

“When you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life.”

I love writing, I love reading, and my ultimate goal is to help people who are searching for a starting point like I was. Honestly, I had been goofing off since college, but I really took a hard look in the mirror and thought, why wasting time such valuable time? Well, there’s more to this story and I will get into that later, but still. I had no kids, I had never been married, and really the only person stopping me, was me. Even when life was tough, I could have been taking baby steps, but it’s never too late to start. I’m a 30-year old female, and here I am, what’s stopping you? You may be 40, 50, 90, there’s no limit to you except what you believe.

It is the power of your mind that makes you free. You either believe you can or you can’t. But once you start believing, the universe will start opening it’s arms up to you. Set your goals, make a plan, and take massive action. Let’s get this started!
